Bandama Caldera ( Crater Bandama )

Today was my second Excursion at the Spanish school. I love exploring Canary Island, and especially the inland. Bandama is the largest crater on the Island. This volcanic caldera reaches 569 m (1,867 ft) above sea level at the highest point on its rim, Pico de Bandama, and is about 1,000 m (3,300 ft) wide and 200 m (700 ft) deep. The view from the peak is spectacular, all the way to Las Palmas, and surrounding. With my wide angle lens i was able to capture the whole crater. Maybe next time i walk to the bottom of the crater, it is very steep and takes about half hour.
